This oil is a blend of three herbs known for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. We keep this on hand in our home for soothing bad backs, pulled muscles and joint pain!

For Pain Relief

  • 1 part Meadowsweet herb

  • 1 part Bay leaves

  • 1 part Lavender herb

  • 2 tbsp Alcohol

  • Grapeseed Oil

  1. Air dry all of the plants thoroughly to reduce the water content and then finely chop and place the herbs into a glass jar.

  2. Add 2 tbsp of Everclear or other high-volume alcohol and shake the jars to mix.

  3. Fill the remainder of the jars with the oil and cover with lids.

  4. Leave the mixture to steep/infuse for 6 weeks then strain.

  5. Store in a cool, dark place and it will keep for a year.

Make into a salve if desired by using a 1:3 ratio of beeswax to oil.
